It's time for another trip through my weird world. I hope you have already poured a beverage and buckled your seat belt.
First up is something I am sure you already know about. There is a radioactive debris field, from the tsunami and nuclear power plant disaster in Japan. It is floating slowly across the Pacific Ocean towards the West Coast of the United States. What you probably are not aware of is the back-story about all this. You see, it turns out that a secret group of right wing Japanese militants (still bitter over losing World War II) dug up some dirt in Godzilla's background (he had a secret affair with Mothra) and blackmailed him into making a giant leap off Mount Fuji into the Pacific doing a cannonball. The impact created the earthquake and tsunami. That in turn resulted in the massive damage made radioactive by the leaking nuclear power plant. Their intention was for the debris to wash back out to sea, follow a route similar to the balloon-bombs they sent over during the war, and give them their revenge. In the meantime, George Soros is funding a new political organization whose purpose is to tie the right wing Japanese militants to the Tea Party, blame the whole thing on the Republicans and ensure Obama's re-election.....
Naw, not really, but I couldn't help pulling your leg a little... O.K., I'll quit.
Let's see, what else? Did you know that on this day in History in 1852 - The New York "Lantern" newspaper published an Uncle Sam cartoon for the first time? No? Really? Well, the drawing was the work of Frank Henry Bellew. Through the years, the caricature changed with Uncle Sam becoming symbolic of the U.S. being just like a favorite uncle. A prime example of this symbolism were U.S. Army posters that portrayed Uncle Sam pointing and saying, “I want you!”.
There, now you have something to add to your trivia knowledge. No, don't thank me. It's what I do.

I want you too - to:
