Well, if you are looking for work, I understand they are looking for some one to take over the missile technology department in North Korea. The former head has not been seen at work since the failed missile launch last week...
Kim Jong Un suffered a public humiliation as North Korea’s third-generation leader unlike any his father or grandfather faced after the totalitarian state admitted a long-range rocket failed shortly after liftoff.(by the way, am I the only one who sees the humor in his name being "Un"?).
The launch was meant to mark the April 15 centennial of grandfather and state founder Kim Il Sung and further cement the younger Kim’s assumption of the family mantle, which the government has been burnishing since he took over in December. Its failure may raise questions of his hereditary hold on power as he deals with the country’s impoverished economy and international condemnation of its nuclear program. Expect temper tantrums and some provocation to distract the world from this failure. Analysts say that will likely be a nuclear weapons test. I think he'll opt for something more tangible as well -like firing artillery into the south or trying to shoot down one of our surveillance planes...
Stupidity, you know, is not confined to the international front. There is plenty of it right here at home. For example, there was the bank robber who disguised himself as a plumber -even carrying a plunger into the banks with him. Well, that worked until they sent pictures of him around and asked bank employees to watch for him. He then arrived at a bank, figuring to drain some funds. An alert employee recognized him (there just aren't many guys carrying plungers into banks these days) and called police. The bank robber, and his plunger, were then hauled off to check leaky facets at the local jail...
Then there was the car thief who took an accomplice with him and talked his assistant through the quick stealing of a car. They'd have gotten away with it but he had accidentally 'pocket dialed' 911. The dispatcher who answered the 911 call, realized what was going on, got a GPS fix on the location and police rounded up the thief and his assistant along with 2 stolen cars.
Enough for today, even I can only take so much "dumb" all at once. I'm sure there will be plenty more later...
Live Long and Prosper...
