Iran Committed to Annihilating Israel

Until now we have heard high ranking Iranians, like Ahmadinejad, say Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. That was pretty disturbing stuff. But now it has gone even further. The Islamic regime’s military chief of staff, A Major General in their armed forces, gave a speech to a defense gathering last week in which he said that Iran is "dedicated to annihilating Israel".

“The Iranian nation is standing for its cause and that is the full annihilation of Israel,” Maj. Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi said.

He made these remarks on the day International Atomic Energy Agency director Yukiya Amano flew to Tehran to negotiate for inspections of Iran’s nuclear program.

Until now no one in the nation’s leadership has announced Iran’s determined intention to carry out the annihilation of Israel.

One thing we have learned about Iran since 1979, when they say something like this, they mean it. I hope our administration is listening and will heed that reality. This as a clear warning of Iran's intentions, especially if they achieve nuclear weapons capabilities. You can be sure the Israelis are paying attention and understand it.
