I'm sorry but I had a spurt of creativity and spent the day working on my book so I did not have time to dash out a blog for today. I did, however, run across this "Oldie but Goodie" and thought I'd share it with you. Most of you were not born yet when Jimmy Durante (known as the Great Schozzola because of his big nose) was a star in the 40's and 50's but I have vague memories of seeing him on his own variety show on our little, snow infested black and white TV. I guess he was a kind of 'grandfather' figure or something, but he was funny he still gives me a little warm, fuzzy feeling when I hear him. I hope you'll enjoy this little slice of entertainment history.
