If you download and enjoy it, please take a few moments a leave a good review. It'd be a be help and I'd appreciate it very much.

I wrote this book a few years ago. I wrote it because I noticed that there a lot of people working their butts off and wanting to advance, but they hadn’t been to college and had not had a chance to get any training in leadership and management skills. They are people like car salesmen who would like to be sales managers, fast food workers who would like to be supervisors, warehousemen who wanted to move up to foreman. People in just about every industry from customer service to retail sales. I would watch them get good at their jobs, be advanced because of their job skills only to fail because they had no organizational or leadership skills. I decided what was needed was a book on management and supervisory skills written in plain language specifically for those people.

I have now updated the book and shortened it to make it even easier to read and understand. It has been published by Kindle Digital Publishing and is now available as an e-book on Amazon.

Here is the summery promoting the book:

Before you can become a good supervisor or a manager you must learn to be a leader. Leadership is the first step to becoming someone who can accomplish goals by managing people. That is exactly what Leadership: The First Step is all about. It provides guidelines and tips for the starting supervisor or manager –tips that will enable them to not only manage but to lead people and become successful. It includes chapters and sections on discipline, organization, teaching, setting a good personal example, good work habits, safety, security, staff meetings and much, much more.

You do not have to have a great deal of formal education with an MBA in order to be a good manager or supervisor. What you do need is the ability to lead. Leadership: The First Step is easy to understand and follow because it was written specifically for people who have not graduated or even attended college.

The basic principles of leadership are the same everywhere. People are people and learning to lead them is an art that you can learn (and become good at). Leadership: The First Step will teach you those principles and provide you the framework on which you can become an effective and successful leader of people!

I had them set the price low so people between jobs or working in entry level positions could afford it. Check it out some time.

Live Long and Prosper...
