Interactive Beer Bottles –It had to come sometime

I knew it was only a question of time before technology found its way into the business of selling beer and other beverages. Now they’ve got a bottle that lights up when you take a sip –and even syncs to music on a dance floor.
 
Heineken has found itself at the intersection of beer and technology: it’s first "interactive beer bottle." Revealed at Milan Design Week, the Heineken Ignite is a beer bottle stuffed with LEDs and motion sensors, which let it light up with various effects when you knock bottles to say cheers with someone or take a drink. The LEDs can even apparently be remotely activated by a light source and synchronized with music. As you might expect, this one is set to remain only a concept for the foreseeable future, but you can see it in action in the video below.
