The Gary Graybill Murder Mystery Series

The books of my 'Mystery Series' are good old fashioned murder mystery whodunits. They are set in fun, beautiful and mysterious New Orleans and they all contain a lot of humor and a little touch of Voodoo (what would a murder mystery set in New Orleans be without a little Voodoo?).

The main character is a tough, half Cajun and half Irish police Lieutenant named James McNeal, but his friends call him “Gator” (his enemies call him 'sir'). His partner is a street smart African-American woman named Alisha Montgomery from Baltimore who has come to love the people, food and atmosphere of The Big Easy. The two of them, together with their team of homicide detectives, tackle and solve the toughest crimes facing the New Orleans Police Department.

If you’re looking for a fun escape for an afternoon, visit New Orleans in the pages of one of these exciting mysteries and see if you can figure out whodunit before Gator reveals all in the final suspenseful chapters.

    Y'all are gonna luv these, I gaur-own-tee!

A Penalty in Blood

This time Gator is out to free an innocent man and find the real murderer. Along the way he finds himself the target of a Mafia Hit-man and he and his team are in real peril.

Does a warning from a Voodoo Priestess help him out? Or is it just so much mumbo-jumbo?

As usual, you find plenty of humor and suspense both as you follow the clues to the final chapter when Gator springs a big surprise.

And there's more coming!
Watch for "Murder Bayou Style" coming next spring.
